Hey guys! today is Saturday, April 11, 2020.
I was rummaging through some notebooks to share todays daily bubble. I came across a poem I'd written 11/16/2017 titled:
"St. Louis"...
You feel so warm and inviting today
Yesterday you were a mess
Your stench was foul and cold as ice,
You put me to the test.
Now your new, fresh, and melodic. Grace is all around.
Everyone seems friendly, with smiling faces.
Is this a different town?
Sometimes you reek of gunpowder, loud and unforgiving.
Other times you shine in all your glory.
My crazy yet wonderful city.
St. Louis can be Fair, Paramount, Grand, and filled with Kings and Queens.
There is a Natural Bridge that boasts some very unnatural scenes.
I left you to find me. Now I'm back in my birth land.
St. Louis can make or break you.
It turned me from boy to man
